Day 1

Depart from your hotel in the Kota Kinabalu City and depart to jetty / dive shop. The instructor will provide a full dive briefing for your first dive. Do your buddy checks before starting your first dive. Head back to the boat and go for lunch on island while enjoying the tropical paradise. Return to the dive boat. Check your dive gear, buddy checks completed and go diving along a shallow coral reef. At the end of the day's dives trip you will be returned jetty and transfer back to your hotel.

Day 2:

Wake-up for a breakfast and proceed to park headquarter. Upon registration at the park headquarters, your guided climb begins at Timpohon Gate. The ascent takes you through an upper montane forest which graduated to sparse vegetation, corresponding to a higher altitude and harsher environment. Stop for a packed lunch along the trail and end your day at Laban Rata, the midway resthouse at 3,345m.

Day 3

0200hrs wake up for early supper and depart for continuation of journey towards the summit of Mount Kinabalu. Low’s Peak at 4,095.2m is your summit destination for a spectacular view of the distant horizon and as far as the eye can see (weather permitting). Enjoy a late breakfast at Laban Rata before descending to the park headquarters where successful climbers are awarded a certificate. After lunch and a short rest, depart for Kota Kinabalu and drop off at your hotel.

Note:

  • Rate per person based on join-in tour (shared guide & vehicle), (Private Tour upon Request).
  • Reservations are subject to room availability.
  • In the mountainous region the weather can change without warning from bright sunshine to mist and cloud to torrential downpour. The nights are cold and temperatures can drop to below freezing. Bring enough warm clothing with you and pack them in plastic bags to keep them dry.
  • It is recommended to bring a waterproof bag for your personal items such as passport, cell phone and camera.
  • Recommend to book: 2 month in advance.
  • Cancellation & Refund Policy:  No refund for any cancellation made within 1 day from the tour date.
 

Child Policy:

  • Child rate applies for children between 3- 11 years old. Infant below 3 years old is FOC.
 

Surcharges for pick up & drop off from Outskirt Hotel

(Kinarut / 1 Borneo / Rasa Ria / Karambunai)
  • Additional charges of MYR30 per pax are chargeable for outskirt hotels. Outskirt charges applicable for hotels outside of Kota Kinabalu city area & 1Borneo Area.

SPECIAL NOTE FROM SABAH PARK AUTHORITIES

  • It is recommended that all climbers should have themselves medically checked before attempting any mountain climb. If you have a history of suffering from the following ailments, it is highly recommended that you should refrain from climbing:
  • Hypertension,
  • Diabetes,
  • Palpitation,
  • Arthritis,
  • Heart disease,
  • Severe anemia,
  • Peptic ulcers,
  • Epileptic fits,
  • Obesity (overweight),
  • Chronic asthma,
  • Muscular cramps,
  • Hepatitis (jaundice);
  • Or any other disease which may hamper the climber.
