Danum Valley Conservation Area (DVCA) was an informal protected area in the Ulu Segama Forest Reserve of primary, undisturbed, predominantly lowland rainforest with an outstanding complement of Borneo flora and fauna. It was part of the almost one million ha forest concession assigned to Yayasan Sabah.

Day 1:
Pick up at Lahad Datu airport or hotel. With 2 hours 30 minutes drive overland into the Danum Valley Conservation Area. Enjoy the myriad landscapes of this million years old virgin rainforests along the way and have a chance to cross path with some wild encounters.
Check-in to and prepare yourself for an introduction to our nature activity for the day.
Nature activities introduction includes guided nature trails & Canopy Walkway and Safari Night Drive after dinner.

Day 2:
Wake up to the calls of the Bornean Gibbons and start your day with guided trekking to the "View Point" and "Coffin Cliff" (a Kadazan Dusun burial site). Take a short break by the Natural Jacuzzi pool for a refreshing dip before lunch at the Lodge.
Afternoon optional activities: A Guided Jungle Trekking or if weather permits, Water Tubing session down the Danum River for an hour or at guest’s own leisure time. Guided Night Walk on the Nature Trail after dinner.

Day 3:
After breakfast, free and easy until check out. Optional activity: An early morning walk and return to the Lodge for lunch before checking-out and transfer arrangement to Lahad Datu Airport or hotel.
